For the PH8 of the Moon

New Moon Greetings!
The Year of the Ox has dawned with this morning's Aquarian New Moon. The Moon woke me with a gentle urgency to "get up and get moving". She kept repeating the Invocations to the Archangels, Elements and Directions that I had adapted from the Hermetic Tradition at Yule of 2007. I laid there, trying to go back to sleep as it was not even 4 AM at the time, but my trying was to no avail. The Moon is my Mother and I have vowed to serve Her as She sees fit. So here I sit, sipping Essiac tea and opening myself to Her Will once again. It seems fitting since yesterday morning I had a dreamtime experience where I found myself in this 'realm' I sometimes inhabit during sleep... it is a twilight world where the light is neither bright nor dark, a misty world where I encounter interesting elements of life. Yesterday, while there, I found myself alone in a parking lot, leaning against a car. As I stood there contemplating, a huge Raven swooped down from a lamp post and began to drink from a small puddle of rain water. As I watched, this Raven was not gaining too much for the effort so I thought to pour some of the orange juice I was holding out on the ground. With this the Raven began to drink is fill and then promptly flew up to my shoulder where it began nuzzling its head against mine. A moment or two later, it jumped down to my arms and just cuddled up to me... then the scene switched and I was no longer in that 'realm'. Raven is one of my totem animals, guiding me and they represent Magic... ceremonial Magic to be specific, so it's no surprise that the Moon would wake me with invocations used in those ceremonies.
Since the probability of doing ceremony with all of you is quite low, I offer them to you at the beginning of this year of the Ox.... the totem for the year I was born. It seems fitting that the invocations should have risen in consciousness at this time as I have been engrossed in the channeled messages from operationterra.com (click on "the books" once there) as the invocations are a dedication of oneself to what the Hermetic tradition refers to as "the Great Work". A society of alchemists, the Hermetics sought to transform the baser levels of the self to a more refined expression of our human nature. These invocations, learned early on in my training, formed the basis of my journey through the last 28 years and the idea of self-transformation to the highest frequency is the major focus of the books from Operation Terra and, I believe it is the reason we are here at this time. The "great work" we have all been doing to raise our vibrations from the enslavement that has held the human species back for so long... the soul searching, the cleansing of our emotional debris... is about to bear the fruits of our labor. We stand at the threshold of a new world and as another New Year dawns, I see our vision of "home" on the horizon. In honor of that vision, I offer the following to you so that you can stay centered in the calm as a the storms rage around us. Consider taking time with each phase of the Moon to offer the following to the source of Self that is our common ground. The Raven brought to mind the idea of ritual and the Moon urged me to share the idea with you so to fulfill my vows, I offer this idea for ritual to you.

The ritual I have been shown is as follows:
Facing East, with arms raised to the sky, avow the Powerful Human Creed:
"I AM the most Powerful Human in the World!
I Live in the Universal flow!
My Life is Wealth!
My Choice is Priceless!
My Love of Self is Power!
I AM Infinite!
I AM Love!
I AM the most Powerful Human in the World!"

As you ground yourself in the Creed, begin by facing East and avow the following:

"Hail unto thee my brother the Sun, seat and symbol of the solar logos and of the real self.
Hail unto thee Raphael, Archangel of Air, Regent of the East, Greater Hierophant of the Mystery. Unto you I offer my service and devotion. I dedicate the whole of myself to the performance of the Great Work. Raphael, teach me thy Wisdom."

Make a quarter turn to the right and face South, avowing:
"Hail unto thee my brother the Sun, seat and symbol of the solar logos and of the real self.
Hail unto thee Michael, Archangel of Fire, Regent of the South, Captain of the Angelic Army. Unto you I offer my service and devotion. I dedicate the whole of myself to the performance of the Great Work. Michael, move me with thy passion."

Make a quarter turn to the right and face West, avowing:
"Hail unto thee my brother the Sun, seat and symbol of the solar logos and of the real self.
Hail unto thee Gabriel, Archangel of Water, Regent of the West, Messenger of Love. Unto you I offer my service and devotion. I dedicate the whole of myself to the performance of the Great Work. Gabriel, guide me with thy flow."

Make a quarter turn to the right and face North, avowing:
"Hail unto thee Polaris, Star of the North, seat and symbol of the Sun beyond the Sun and of the Self beyond the self. Hail unto thee Uriel, Archangel of Earth, Regent of the North, Teacher of the Law. Unto you I offer my service and devotion. I dedicate the whole of myself to the performance of the Great Work. Uriel, sustain me with thy beauty."

Our "home" is within us and we are birthing a new reality with each breath. Remain centered in Love and we will ride the waves with ease.
