Thursday thoughts

Paraphrasing here…. But Mark Twain wrote: “Grief, alone, can take of itself; but to get the full measure of joy, it must be shared.”
That statement speaks to the deepest part of my spirit. It is my reason for connecting to others. It is a selfish reason to be sure, for if I do not share the joy I feel within, I believe that I would explode with the sheer immensity of it. Its’ enormity is best described as a weight so expansive that I feel nothing of its’ limits as my spirit heart reaches out to enfold the body of Gaia, my beloved sister.

The song of the Red Winged Blackbird or the Northern Mockingbird is enough to lift my spirit to that infinite space of unconditional Joy that is the spirit of Love. They share their Joy with me, feeding me as I feed them. Symbiotic, in synchronicity with each other’s rhythms we anchor light in the space we share.
Let me be rooted, not grounded. This Faery is set to fly……

Past life influences

It seems I had bought the idea of ‘atonement’ as an inevitable state of being, a self-inflicted penance for a failure I had invented. The self-designed punishment led me to kneel in the shadow of others who could apparently sense my willingness to atone. While not exactly hiding my light under a bushel, I did manage to allow it to be dimmed by the darkness of others. These dark others were always ones who relied on my willingness to serve, often draining my reserves and poisoning the joy that I felt in being of service. Their envy, jealousy and self-hatred tainting the waters of my life; it plagued me over and over, causing me to repeat the pattern of self-abandonment for several lifetimes. But a self-actualized Powerful Human cannot live in a toxic environment and that lesson has finally been learned. The behavior could not be unlearned; it had to be understood so that I could begin to make better choices.
A Powerful Human does not have power bestowed from an external source; it is a force that glows from within. A Powerful Human acts from that illuminated center and practices forgiveness of self as a stepping-stone to success. A Powerful Human does not carry those who are too lazy to walk. A Powerful Human is a way-shower who will lend a hand but not one who will be drained by the callous disregard of those whose sense of entitlement obliterates their humanity. A Powerful Human does not fear standing in their own light shining with Love’s radiance. A Powerful Human owns their own power.

For the PH8 of the Moon

So how's this new energy feeling? I’m so jazzed! During this last Full Moon we seemed to have turned a corner, rounded a bend and, from what I can see, the headwaters look to be smooth, indicating a less tumultuous ride ahead. The choppy waters that carried us through Summer have given way to a more serene journey through the next phase of our transition. I see our individual crafts linked by glimmering beams of love-light and feel the lightness of being providing us with a well-deserved period of rest. We’ve arrived at a place we’ve never been before and we’re exploring new vistas with glad anticipation. The fears of others are behind us now. Those fleeting moments of contentment have more staying power and, as we breathe in more light, it is becoming easier to navigate the course. My ‘gut’ tells me that there are still challenges ahead… more for those still mired in 3-D… but we are being showered with glad-tidings from the ones who have been calling us home. So instead of “faking it until we make it” we can expect those miracles we’ve been dreaming of… we’ve arrived on the shores of our dreams.
Over the next several months we can look for expanded opportunities to drop out of nowhere. Our attitude of gratitude will bring us the tools necessary to craft the future we’ve all seen within our hearts. Now, more than ever, conscious breathing will be of great benefit. Use your essential oils to shift out of any unwanted mindsets and conditioning. Incorporate the Aura Cleansing Ritual and Salt Baths into your lifestyle. (If you need instructions for either of these or info on essential oils, shoot me an email and let me know what you need) Hone your bartering skills; what we can do for ourselves and each other will become the new medium of exchange. Take time to play during this respite from difficulty; we’ll need the refreshed energy to help those that follow our lead. Rest when you can; my mother taught me well when she instilled in me the idea that we should eat when we’re hungry and sleep when we’re tired. Honor the sensibility of your body and heed it’s wisdom.
So as the days grow shorter and cooler, breathe deeply of Nature’s gifts and let your lives mirror the rhythms of Her cycles.

Be Blissed for we are Love!

An oldie but a goodie...

Yule 2006
by
Skyfire

Fragmented and being played like fiddles we struggle against the
whirlpool of mediocrity that is trying to suck the life out of us.
Fearful leaders are puppets whose strings are manipulated by greed-
driven money changers. They stir the polluted waters of human
consciousness via a media focused on selling shares and spots. And
while most abhor the game, we still play. And sadly, many are still
unaware that we possess the power to change the rules. Tired and
angry, radiant and hopeful are the extremes to which we are pulled
indicating that balance is the only safe harbor against the
maelstrom.

Guarded optimism and calculated risks are the tools of a dualistic
reality and until we transcend that reality, it behooves us to make
the most of where we stand and take a stand so as not to be sucked in
to the cesspool of mediocrity being generated by those too fearful to
embrace a new dawn. The old paradigm and the old order are dying and
the adherents of the that ideology are feverishly working to prevent
it's demise. But change is the only constant and those of us who are
awake and aware know that, yet it is still a challenge to maintain
balance while we labor to birth a new way.

As the holidays approach there will be subtle shifts in the news.
Just as gas prices dropped prior to the election (and have
subsequently risen), the news stories will take on a more human-
interest tone as the holidays draw nearer. Good news makes for
better moods and better moods mean heftier spending. I imagine the
term "Black Friday" indicates a positive turn in revenue for the
retail world, but it's a color devoid of substance, an implied
absence, an emptiness that nags at our psyches as the appointed days
threaten to descend.

So, knowing this, why is it that we still participate? When we know
a new order is forming, why do we still find ourselves sucked in to
the energy created by fear and greed? Where are the holy days? Not
the fervent pomp of organized religion and consumerism, but the heart-
felt celebrations of the progression of the seasons and the warmth of
kindred spirits. As Autumn, the season of death, winds down and we
move closer to Winter, the season that heralds the rebirth of light,
it is my heart-felt wish that we each take a moment this year to
shift at least one part of our collective consciousness towards
embracing the joy we came here to experience. Let love and joy be
the energy that lifts both Gaia, the living Earth, and Her children
to a new dimension.
In Joy, Health & Well-Being, I wish you glad tidings.
